Get Cultured

Honor Pacific Island heritage by learning the art of hula or how to play the ukulele. Tradition that transcends time, these enriching experiences will remain with you beyond your stay in the islands.

Tuesdays: keiki (kids) ukulele at 9 a.m., advanced ukulele at 9:30 a.m., hula at 10 a.m.

Craft Fair

Every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests of Aston Kaanapali Shores can shop our cultural arts and crafts fair, featuring handmade goods by local crafters, artisans and purveyors. Discover treasured gems and bring back a piece of Hawaii home with you for your own personal collection of keepsakes. Or gift an artisanal find to your friends and family and show them they were here with you in spirit.

Hawaiian Weaving

Learn how to weave palm fronds in the traditional Hawaiian style. Get creative and make baskets, hats, head ornaments or lei with this versatile material.

Make Your Own Lei

Partake in the tradition of lei making that symbolizes the true meaning of aloha—friendship, love, and greetings.
